Nominee: The VanTassell Family Baseball Team

Jefferson VanTassell was my Grandfather In 1909 there was a well known Semi Professional Base Ball team made of 10 Brothers.

Their Father George Washington VanTassell was the Coach, and manager of this well traveled team.

They appeared at the 1903 St Louis World Fair.

They are pictured in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

I feel it is time that the Citizens of this area pay honor for their promoting of Base Ball and this section of Pennsylvania in their travels
